Bestehend aus einer S�ngerin, zwei Trommlern, zwei Trompeten, Posaune, zwei Saxofonen und Tuba kreiert die Band einen einzgartigen Sound und ein Liveerlebnis, das jeden Zuh�rer in seinen Bann zieht... .. Das Dublin Fringefest bezeichnete den Stil der Band als „revolution�re Mischung aus Jazz, Funk, HipHop und World Styles"... .. Die Band wurde 1994 als instrumentale Strassenband gegr�ndet. Ohne sich einen Kopf zu machen tourte die Band in zwei alten VW-Bussen aufs Geratewohl durch Italien. Den ersten Release gab es 1996 mit dem Instrumental-Album „modern brass". Nach dem Konzeptalbum „Songs" brauchte es eine Weile bis zur n�chsten Ver�ffentlichung, „Time" im Jahr 2003. Hier wurden zum erstenmal die S�nger Katie LaVoix und Uli Wolf gefeatured, die beide auch ausgezeichnete Songwriter sind. Im Jahr 2006 ver�ffentlichte die Band ihr richtungsweisendes Album „Sound of BlasMusik", das das einzigartige Konzept der Band greifbar umsetzte. Die Single-Auskopplung „Girl!" lief sechs Monate in der Rotation von Funkhaus Europa, radio multikulti und Radio Bremen und gewann 2007 den Karneval der Kulturen Song-Contest. Im Lauf der Jahre wurde die Band zum vielgefragten B�hnen-Act und spielte Festivals und Konzerte in Rom, Athen, Dublin, Breda, Eindhoven, Luxemburg, Br�ssel, Durham und kreuz und quer durch Deutschland. .. .. Im September 2009 ver�ffentlichte die Band ihr viertes Album Hund ohne Leine. Mit diesem Album hat sich die Band eng�ltig von allen Fesseln befreit und pr�sentiert unnachahmlich die Zukunft des urban brass. With a singer, two drummers, two trumpets, tuba, trombone and two saxophones, the band creates a unique sound and live experience that leaves no audience untouched. The band was founded in 1994 as a street marching act. They toured Italy in two old Volkswagen-busses and never looked back. 1996 saw the release of the band's first instrumental album, 'Modern Brass'. It took the band a while to release their second album in 2003, 'Time', which featured the singers Kati La Voix and Uli Wolf for the first time who are also two profilic writers and contributed most of the songs on the album. In 2006, the band relased their breakthrough and trademark album , „Sound of BlasMusik", which branded the band's sound. The single „Girl" went on 6 month rotation on German radio (Funkhaus Europa/radio multiculti) and won the Carnival of Cultures-songcontest in 2007. Over the years the band became a sought-after stage act and went on to play festivals and concerts in Rome, Athens, Dublin, Breda/NL, Eindhoven, Luxembourg, Bruxelles, Durham/GB and all over Germany. In September 2009 the band realeased their fourth album 'Hund ohne Leine' (Dog off a leash). With this album, beat 'n blow is finally "unleashed", perfectly demonstrating the future of urban brass. Stompin and pumpin' grooves, striking horns and the powerful charismatic voice of Katie LaVoix propell brass music into pop and worldbeat heaven.
