Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die in a couple of decent rooms and a bath? Anyway, my father didn't think so. PEOPLE WERE HUMAN BEINGS TO HIM, BUT TO YOU, A WARPED FRUSTRATED OLD MAN, THEY'RE CATTLE.  Well, in my book HE DIED A MUCH RICHER MAN THAN YOU'LL EVER BE!"

Wenn die Elbe der Old Man River ist, die Schanze New Orleans und Altona Detroit. Wenn wechselnde Bands ihr Bestes in einer kurzen Show präsentieren, sich zahlreiche Musiker in einer Location auf der Max-Brauer-Allee zum Jammen treffen und dies begleitet wird von einem DJ dessen Passion der Original Sound der 60th und 70th ist, dann braucht diese Live Session einen Namen: We Call It...Funk!

Ja, wir nennen es Funk. Und das nicht ohne Grund. K AND THE OFFBEATS sind den Menschen, die uns schon länger begleiten, bestens bekannt. Seit der ersten Session ist diese geniale Live Band mit dabei und begleitet WE CALL IT FUNK mit ganzem Herzen. Nach mehreren Auftritten gemeinsam mit Fonotone nun alleine auf den Brettern, die für uns die Welt bedeuten!
Freut Euch auf die bezaubernde Frontsängering KATHARINA, Julian aka. DJ MZUZU an der Gitarre, JOSH am Bass, FLO an den Drums, THOMAS an den Keys und SERGRIO BR and den Percussions (und am Plattenteller).
