The band was founded in February 2007 by Matthias Richter (guitar/vocals), Vincent Liedtke (guitar) and Sebastian Wilkus (drums).
In the beginning we tried to cover our favourite bands like Black Sabbath, 45Motörhead, Metallica and AC/DC but more quiet and slower bands like Status Quo, Nirvana and Die Ärzte, too.
Our first rehearsals were to improve the playing between each other and to find our own style of music.
Friends and classmates made some advertisment by telling others about our music and our band.
Because of the hard need of a bassist, Matthias and Vincent thought about laying down the guitar and start playing bass.
Meanwhile we had already wrote our own songs and found the right sound for some of them.
In winter 2007/2008 Frank Mengert decided to join the band as a bassist.
But we were still in need of a good name for the band.
During one of those typical "Rock'n'Roll"-Nights somebody asked what means "alter Säufer" in English.
By looking in a dictionary we not just found the answer but a really good fitting name for our band: "The Crocks"
But we decided that "The Crocks" doesn't really fit our lifestyle so we chose "From Day To Day" to be the new one.
The band decided to move into a new room for rehearsals, so they canceled the old one for May.
But because of some unexpected complications we couldn..t join our new reserved room in time.
After a compulsory brake we play in a small corner in a restaurant since the mid of July.
Now they are writing new songs and play some shows around Krefeld.
From Day To Day is not only a boygroup who tries to make some rock music. They try to bring many influences into their writing and songs, which includes Punk,Rock and even Pop.
