The brass section begins, drums enter and bring the beat, the bass booms: "Wir sind die G-G-hörgang, wir bringen den Shit zu euch" sounds the announcement from the speakers, the crowd is raving – The GehörGang has taken the stage. An evening full of musical variety, a sublime travel through the cosmos of popular music is awaiting the audience, brought to them by nine musicians that know their trade and clearly have a lot of fun on stage. From the critical "Tell them" through the subversive "Revolution" to the rhythmic "Pullermann" the Gang has something to offer for everyone.
Being around for 3 years, the Gang has already played together with artists like I-Fire, Ganjaman and Uwe Banton, they played on the "Festivalkult U&D" open air in Vlotho and they got a close second place at this years contest for the "Reggaejam Festival" in Bersenbrück while winning the audience vote. They can not be categorized in standard musical genres with their mix of rock, reggae, and rap, but Reggaerapfusion is a practical effort to describe their anti-style. Various singers, catchy lyrics, solos and a manifold instrumentation offer lots of variety. But the Gang is more than just that - with their “World-Wide-Gang Project” they set out to conquer the musical landscape all around

Die Bläser erklingen, das Schlagzeug bringt den Beat, der Bass wummert, "Wir sind die G-G-hörgang, wir bringen den Shit zu euch" schallt es aus den Lautsprechern, die Menge tobt, die GehörGang hat die Bühne betreten. Vor dem Publikum liegt ein kunterbunter Abend, eine kleine Reise durch den abendländischen Musikkosmos, dargeboten von neun Musikern, die ihr Handwerk verstehen und sichtlich Spaß daran haben. Vom nachdenklichen „Tell dem“, über das subversive „Revolution“, zum rhythmischen „Pullermann“, im Gang-Potpourri ist für jeden was dabei.Die Gang, die sich ich während ihres zweijährigen Bestehens schon an der Seite von Künstlern wie I-Fire, Ganjaman und Uwe Banton und auf dem altehrwürdigen „Festivalkult U&D“ Festival in Vlotho präsentieren durfte, entzieht sich mit ihrer dynamischen Mischung aus Reggae, Rock und Rap jeglicher Kategorisierung. Durch wechselnde Sänger, eingängige Lyrics, Soli und eine breite Instrumentation wird jede Menge Abwechslung geboten, so macht Stilbruch Spaß.Nun liegt mit ihrer brandneuen EP „Q-Tip“ endlich eine erste Kostprobe ihres breiten Repertoires auf CD vor. Doch das soll erst der Anfang sein, in nächster Zeit geht es mit dem „World-Wide-Gang Project“ hoch hinaus, man darf also gespannt sein past gigs:
