Biografia GRIMOON

Nati alla fine del 2003, i Grimoon si caratterizzano per la contaminazione musicale e per la capacità di mescolare la loro musica con altre forme d’arte, soprattutto quella cinematografica. Ogni loro brano viene proposto dal vivo con la proiezione dei video da loro girati. Nel 2004 esce l’ep “Demoduff”; nel 2006, l’uscita de “La lanterne magique” (cd+dvd) vede i Grimoon cimentarsi con il loro primo lungometraggio. Nel 2008 esce “Les 7 vies du chat”, disco realizzato con la collaborazione di diversi musicisti italiani e internazionali. Dopo essersi dedicati ai tour italiani, europei ed americani nel 2010 tornano con un nuovo album, “Super 8” e un nuovo film, “Neera”, distribuito in Europa e Usa.

Biography GRIMOON

Grimoon is an italo-french band born in the end of 2003. Since the beginning Grimoon define themselves with a strong sense of musical and artistical contamination. Music mixes genres and merges with art, in particular cinematography. The band in fact produces a short-film for each song, projecting the videos during live performances. The band (residing near Venice-Italy) has made an EP “Demodoff” (Macaco Records 2004) and two albums, “La Lanterne Magique” (cd+dvd Macaco Records 2006) and “Les 7 Vies Du Chat” (Macaco Records 2008). Between 2008 and 2009, besides touring in both Italy and Europe, Grimoon has worked on the new musical and cinematographic projects, to come back in 2010 with the new album featuring the record “Super 8” and the movie “Neera” (real 1h30 movie).

.. ...... .. .. .. .. Grimoon is an italo-french band formed in 2003. It's not easy to define their musical orientation. A mixture of rock, pop, romantic and personal atmospheres, mostly sung in French. .. Besides the musical project, they have realized self produced pieces of video art, which support each song. .. Their first Ep "Demoduff 1" was released on may 2004 by Macaco Records. .. After several Italian and abroad performances (Sziget Festival in Budapest, Berlin and Wien...), Grimoon have started to record their first official album (autumn 2005), produced by Giovanni Ferrario (Micevice, Hugo Race & True Spirit...). .. "La lanterne magique" was released on 20th of november 2006 (Macaco Records/Audioglobe) with a movie on dvd. .. The movie, produced and directed by Grimoon is a funny thriller, based on Grimoon's strange and absurd world. .. During 2007 the band have been on tour in Italy, France and Germany and at the begining of summer they started to record a new album. .. The 14th of march 2008 was released the second album, "Les 7 vies du chat" in Italy. .. The album has been produced by Giovanni Ferrario and recorded with several italian and international guests : Pall Jenkins and Scott Mercado, Thibaut Derien, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Lo.mo, Marta Collica, Mariposa, Giovanni Ferrario. .. During 2009 Grimoon has been touring in Italy and Europe and they realised their second movie "Neera" and third album "Super 8" produced by Scott Mercado (Manuok). .. The cd+dvd will be released in march 2010 in Italy and soon in Germany and Usa. .. .. .. Gli italo-francesi Grimoon nascono alla fine del 2003 come progetto musicale e video. Compongono canzoni che danno vita a cortometraggi da loro realizzati. Dal vivo, ogni canzone è accompagnata da piccole storie visive creando così una sorta di concerto-cinema... A Maggio 2004 è uscito il loro primo Ep "Demoduff1" per la Macaco Records. L’uscita del demo ha subito portato la band in tour in Italia e all'estero (Sziget Festival di Budapest, Berlino, Vienna, Spalato…)... A Novembre 2006 è stato pubblicato il primo album ufficiale dei Grimoon “la lanterne magique”, prodotto da Giovanni Ferrario. Il disco uscito assieme ad un dvd contenente un lungometraggio realizzato dal gruppo stesso ha riscontrati ottimi consensi dal pubblico e dalla stampa. Nel 2007 la band si è dedicata ad una lunga tournée italiana (oltre 40 concerti) ed europea (tours in Germania e Francia)... Nel 2007, i Grimoon si sono anche dedicati alle registrazioni del loro secondo album “les 7 vies du chat”, in collaborazione con molti ospiti. Il disco, prodotto da Giovanni Ferrario è uscito in Italia il 14 marzo 2008 (Macaco/Audioglobe)...
