Bekannte Soundmuster in völlig neuem Outfit. Das Spektrum der Band: eine explosive Mischung aus treibendem Rock, spektakulären Balladen und lässigem Groove. THE JOSHUA STEEVEN markieren mit ihren Songs einen ganz eigenen, unverkennbaren Stil, der nachhaltig wirkt!

Energiegeladener, rauher Rock, bombastische Hooklines, dazwischen immer wieder auch sanfte Töne. Produziert werden THE JOSHUA STEEVEN von Freund und Soundtüftler Thomas Neuberger und Bandleader Josh. Live und auch im Studio holt sich die Band regelmäßig Unterstützung bei Weltklasse-Drummer Jürgen Lukas. Gemeinsam stellen sie einen Sound auf die Beine, den es in dieser Art noch nie gab. Einfach schöne Songs, aber auch so richtig coole Kick-Ass-Rocker. Dafür gibt es nur eine Bezeichnung: BEAUTICOOL! Für ausgewählte Songs des Albums (u.a. Sugarbaby) wurden schon auf abgefahrenste Art und Weise die passenden Videoclips abgedreht und produziert. Gedreht wurde an so exotischen Locations wie Rio de Janeiro, auf Cuba und natürlich in New York City.

Die abgedrehtesten Ideen exzellent in Szene gesetzt vom amerikanischen Filmemacher Paul Yates (Movie: 'Moby presents: Alien Sex Party') der sich auch für das ein oder andere Video von Moby verantwortlich zeigt. Ebenfalls kreativ mit am Set an den verschiedenen Schauplätzen in New York City: Der amerikanische Allround-Filmemacher und Schauspieler Alexander Berberich (Movie 'C'est comme ca')

So ganz nebenbei: Sein Vater ist der erfolgreiche Klassik-Musiker und die (!) Chorus-Stimme im Nummer 1-Hit 'Go West' der Pet Shop Boys: Hugh Berberich.

Paul Yates und Alex Berberich, ohnehin bekannt für ihre unkonventionelle Arbeitsweise(Movie 'Moby presents: Alien Sex Party'), zogen bei einigen Aufnahmen sämtliche Register. Für den erotischen Kick der besonderen Art sorgt auch ein "Playmate of the Year".

Die Single - Sugarbaby:

“Sugarbaby” ist eine einzige Hookline. Der Videoclip zur ersten Auskopplung “Sugarbaby” aus dem Album “Beauticool” wurde in New York in Szene gesetzt. Hinzu kommen so exotische Schauplätze wie Rio de Janeiro oder Cuba.
Ebenfalls kreativ mit am Set an den verschiedenen Schauplätzen in New York City, bald auch für weitere TJS Videos (u.a. 'Sexx Joint'): Der amerikanische Allround-Filmemacher und Schauspieler Alexander Berberich (Movie 'C'est comme ca'). Die Special-Effects tun ihr übriges übriges dazu. Die Band hatte bei den Dreharbeiten mächtig viel Fun. Bei diesen Schauplätzen fiel ihnen das aber auch ziemlich leicht.

Die Single - Listen to The Silent Night:

Die Auskopplung aus dem Album ”Beauticool” überhaupt und die Lieblings-Ballade nicht nur der Band selbst. Auch für diesen Song wurde für die Band in New York ein starker Clip gedreht. Supported vom amerikanischen Filmemacher Paul Yates, am Schauplatz Manhattan, das für die Band schon immer ganz besondere Bedeutung hatte. Der Schauplatz NYC und die Schluchten des Big Apple stehen für die Themen des Songs: Leben, Liebe und die Kernaussage auch in der Machart des Clips: Gib nie Deine Hoffnung auf.

Die Story

Die Ursprünge von THE JOSHUA STEEVEN reichen weit zurück – bis in legendären Kindertage der Bandgründer Josh und Steeve. Damals lieferten sich die beiden Freunde quer über die heimische Wohnstraße einen Soundbattle nach dem anderen – und strapazierten damit nicht nur ihre voll aufgedrehten "Hifi-Anlagen", sondern auch die Ohren der Nachbarn bis an die Grenzen der Belastbarkeit.

Josh gründete schon bald gemeinsam mit Steeve die Band "The Powerfreaks".
Bei Live-Auftritten machten die begeisterten Musiker diesem Namen alle Ehre. Zahllose Songs der Musikgeschichte werden durch die Band gnadenlos dem ureigenen Bandsound angepaßt, aber auch viele eigene Songs finden beim Publikum erfolgreich Gehör.

Irgendwann weit nach der Jahrtausendwende formiert sich THE JOSHUA STEEVEN in der heutigen Besetzung: Steeve am Bass, gemeinsam mit Josh auch für die Vocals zuständig. Mario sorgt für den richtigen Tasten-Sound. Trotz der Begeisterung für die Musik lassen sich die drei die angenehmen Seiten des Lebens nicht entgehen: Ausgedehnte Trips in die Szene-Metropolen der USA, nach Lateinamerika und in die Karibik bieten musikalische Anreize - und jede Menge Fun!

The Story:

The origins of THE JOSHUA Steeve go far back - to children in the legendary days of the band founder Josh and Steeve. At that time, the two friends delivered across the local residential street a sound battle after another - and strained not only fully turned their "hi-fi equipment," but the ears of the neighbors to the limits of carrying capacity.

“Sugarbaby” es la leche. Criticos verian esta canción en el disco “Pet Sounds 2009” si los Beach Boys existirian todavía. El video para esta canción se rodó sobre todo en Nueva York. Se añadieron escenas rodadas en lugares tan exóticos como Rio de Janeiro y Cuba. Un toque especialmente loco llegó del director de cine Paul Yates (colega de Moby). Yates conocido por su manra de trabajar poco convencional (peli “Alien Sex Party”) hizo magia en algunas escenas. El grupo y su entorno numeroso se lo pasó bomba durante el rodaje. En vista a los lugares, a nadie le extrañará.

La canción - LISTEN TO THE SILENT NIGHT:

También proviene del albúm Beauticool y es LA CANCION en mayusculas. Quien oiga esta canción no la olvidará jamás. Las nenas se derriten y los chicos se ablandan. El video también se rodó en Nueva York, en Manhattan que a los tres les significa tanto. La Gran Manzana simboliza los tres temas centrales de la canción: la vida, el amor y la esperanza. Esta canción favorita está a punto de llegar a lo más alto de los Cuarenta Principales – la canción ya recibió unos cuantos premios underground.

El albúm - BEAUTICOOL:

Es “EL ALBUM”. Excitante, diverso y con cantidad de frases qu no se te olvidarán jamás. Las canciones Supercool Rocket, Mania y Confused tienen un gran potencial, igual que Sugarbaby y Listen to the Silent Night. La historia:

Los orígenes de THE JOSHUA Steeve remontarse muy atrás - a los niños en los días legendario fundador de la banda de Josh y Steeve. En ese momento, los dos amigos a través de la entrega local de la calle residencial de una batalla de sonido después de otro - y se esforzó no sólo se volvió totalmente su "equipo de alta fidelidad", pero los oídos de los vecinos de los límites de capacidad de carga.

Josh fundada poco Steeve con la banda "Los Monstruos de alimentación". En las actuaciones en vivo realizado los músicos de este nombre. Innumerables canciones de la historia de la música de la banda adaptado para ser merced a la banda un sonido muy propio, pero también muchas canciones originales tienen éxito con la audiencia pública.

En algún momento, así después del milenio, EL Steeve JOSHUA formado en la ocupación actual: Steeve en el bajo, junto con Josh también responsables de las voces. Mario le da el sonido teclas derecha. E’ un altro singolo tratto dal l’album “Beauticool” ed e’ la canzone più sentita dal gruppo. Chi ascolta questa canzone ne rimarrà incantato e non la scorderà più! I ragazzi si ammorbidiscono e le ragazze si sciolgono… Il video per questo singolo è stato realizzato dal regista Paul Yates a New York. The Joshua Steeven hanno preso spunto la grande mela per questa canzone per che il tema della canzone dice: Vita, amore e’ speranza e’ per il gruppo New York rappresenta tutto ciò! Con grande successo e’ stato accolto il singolo dai fans tra l’altro la canzone Listen to the Night e’ stato premiato anche dal Underground awards. Nel tempo libero finite le riprese del video Josh, Steeve e’ Mario passavano nottate nei più famosi locali notturni a base di Rock e’ concerti Live anche per prendere nuovi spunti per altri grandi successi.

Josh

Josh e’ come cantautore e compositore la mente creativa del gruppo ma per questo in fondo non ce da stupirsi poiché e’ nato sotto il segno dell’ acquario. Gia il nonno di Josh era stato dirigente di un’orchestra che poi anche il padre di Josh intraprese come lavoro, in più entro anche come sassofonista e trombettiere in un gruppo! Cugino Hugh lavora come docente per musica classica negli Stati Uniti d'America, canto nel coro di “Go West” dei Pet Shop Boys.

Steeve

Anche Steeve Tiobueno scopri presto l’entusiasmo per la musica. Incomincio a imparare ha suonare la chitarra tuttavia Steeve vise che Josh era più adatto per questo in strumento e scopri la cosi la sua passione per il basso.

Mario

Mario Trapani nasce in Sicilia il 7 Settembre secondo di tre figli. La sua famiglia per motivi di lavoro si trasferisce in Germania. Inizia a 6 anni il suo amore per la musica, per il clarinetto e per il piano che impara a suonare fin da piccolissimo.

Ad undici anni si iscrive al conservatorio conseguendo il diploma in pianoforte. Mario era stato gia nella formazione precedente, The Powerfreaks il supplemento ideale per Steeve e Josh e diventa conseguentemente il pianista del trio The Joshua Steeven. ROCK 'N' ROLL !!
